Several Challenges (2021-04-26)

This card is made by using the stamps and dies of a Rose and Daffodil Stained Glass Window Die Set of Tonic Studios. I die-cut the semi-circle with the leaves twice from a white circle and also from a green circle. Then I put some double-sided adhesive behind the white circle, paperpieced the green leaves into the corresponding places of the white circle, filled the empty places with blue glitter flakes and rubbed them into the adhesive. Then I coloured the center and the white parts of the leaves with lime green ink. The focal point is stamped on a white scalloped circle die-cut. Then I coloured the circle and the stamp with several inks. Those flowers remind me of those that emerge here in Finland among the first ones after the snow has melted. Right now we have lots of them.

This birthday card is OLC and CAS with an one inch strip. Within the strip there are an image and a sentiment which are both stamped. With this curvy strip I wanted to give the card some speedy look to back up the theme of the stamps.

This is a CAS and OLC card with a 1 inch strip. The diamond patterned background is coloured through a stencil. The sentiment with a diamond is stamped.

This is an interactive 3D-shaped BD card to my dearest. We collect vinyls so it was easy to personalize the card for him. You can manually spin the vinyl and move the tonearm. The die-set for the turntable parts is unbranded and it didn't include a die for the dust cover so I just cut the cover out of a piece of thick packing acetate. I  had to figure out the measurements and how to make it stay open. The die-set didn't include a die for the turntable base either so I made the base using a die of an exploding box die set.

It's spring in the Gnomesville. Garden gnomes Hugo and Horacio love growing flowers, the more the merrier and the more colourful the better. The sun is just about to come out and the morning haze is floating in the air.   Little Gnomies are early birds, because once the sun begins to shine it will be too hot for them to do the digging and planting.

We Love Chocolate Baroque, April, "Springtime"

The springtime is finally here. The Flowers are blooming and the bees are busy buzzing and collecting nectar which they are taking to their hive to feed the young ones so that they can grow and become buzzers themselves.

The card is square, CAS and OLC. The images cover 2 quarters of the whole card.
