Several challenges (2021-07-28)

Hello. In the end of this post is my entry in the following challenges:

AAA Birthday, Game # 27

AAA Cards, Game # 195

A lady who loves cats asked me to do a birthday card which she could give to an other "Cat Lady". I decided to combine their love for cats with the themes of these challenges and this is what I came up with. It is a one layer card (OLC)  and hopefully CAS enough too. I embossed the edge of the front side with a brick wall folder, swiped the wall with grey ink, used some dies to make stencils for cats and the moon which I then inked along with the night sky. The edge of the inside of the card I embossed with a paw-themed embossing plate.

AAA Cards Game # 194 and "Less is More" # 447

Hello. In the end of this post there is my entry in the following challenges:

AAA Cards, Game # 194

Finland has been under a heavy heat wave for over a month now and making Christmas cards is not the very first that would come to my mind. However, inspired by these two challenges I decided to make a small one.  This is an OLC and CAS card and it's width and height is just under 2 inches (roughly 1and3/4 inches).

For making the card I used
  • the stamps of the set in "The Snowman" cardmaking kit (Making Special Cards December 2018 issue 15) to stamp the image and the sentiment;
  • a die to cut an aperture on a separate card stock through which I then coloured the background on the actual cardbase with blue and purple TH Distress Inks;
  • white gel pen for the snowflakes; and
  • several colouring pens to colour the image.

CraftWold: GET FEATURED in Simply Cards & Papercraft Issue 220! Theme: Autumn Colours

My entry is a bridge fold birthday card in autumnal colours. I have used the items in the Autumn Special premium mag of John Next Door (issue 63). For the background panels I used the embossing folder of the set and then coloured the leaves with several TH Distress inks. I stamped and die-cut the embellishments and coloured with the same inks as the background. For the sentiment I combined two of the stamps in the set. Usually I combine items of several sets and of different brands but I think this is the first card that I have used only one set.
