We Love Stamping; June Challenge - Anything stamped w. the option of Roses

 

This is a BD card for a young woman. The sentiment is in Finnish and it means roughly: "To the birthday girl". The rose stamp I used is printing also a shadow of the rose so in order to avoid the image getting all messed up when inking with several colours I first stamped the rose with gray, then masked the shadow part as much as I could and stamped the leaves with green and the flower part with red. The first three pics of the card are taken using the flash as the sun was hiding today. The last pic of the rose is taken without the flash.

The rosestamp and the inks I used:

Stamping Sensations June Challenge

A masculine BD card for the star of the day. 

At first I scored two lines on the card base. Then I stamped the sentiments and the drum set between the score lines and the dancing people along the bottom score line, both with black VersaFine ink. Finally I drew yellow and red Distress Ink lines from the upper score line downwards diagonally to represent spotlights. No layers, die-cuts or embellishments on this card.

 Hello. With the card below I'll enter in the following challenge:

AAA Cards, Game #217: 1/9th + Butterflies

This is a BD card for a young woman who is bursting with energy and she loves to have fun.  At first I divided a spare cardstock in 9 (approx) equal rectangles, cut the middle rectangle off and used that aperture as a stencil to ink the background straight on the cardbase, both on the cover and on the inside. Then I stamped the image with the sentiment on the cover of the card and the sentiment on the inside of the card. There are no layers, die-cuts or embellishments on this card.
