Tuesday Morning Sketches #594

This is a tent fold birthday card to a person who likes music. The purple layers are embossed. The microphone is at first stamped with StazOn ink on silver mirricard, then fussy cut and lastly glued on the black circle. The sentiments and the wheel of clefs are stamped and their backgrounds are inked.

CAS COLOUR & SKETCH CHALLENGE #408

This is a birthday card for a person who likes Rock'n'Roll (such as I). It is an one layer CAS Card following the given sketch.  At first I taped a rectangle on the card base, then I stamped the guitars and the sentiment. Lastly I coloured the rectangle with yellow and red inks.

The rules say: "The triangles in the sketch may be substituted with any two shapes of your choosing.  Remember too that you can flip or rotate the sketch when creating your card. "

Several Challenges 2021-02-24

With this card I'll enter the following challenges:

AAA Cards CAS Challenge , Game #184

Less is More CAS Challenge , Challenge #437

Challenge #399

You can find the Challenge Badges with the challenge themes in the end of this post.

So, this is an one layer CAS card for any occasion. Just add a specified sentiment inside the card. The background of the rectangle is coloured with watercolour pencils, the image is coloured with sharpies. Before any colouring I stamped the sentiment and the thistle stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with silver embossing powder. Unfortunately the card stock I used didn't tolerate the water colouring without crinkling.

Several Challenges 2021-02

In Finland the Mother's Day is celebrated on the 9th of May this year. Here is my card for my mother. The  sentiment on the right says in Finnish "Congrats to Mum".

The flowers and the hummingbird are stamped and inked.  The base layer is embossed and inked, the background of the small layer is stamped very light handed. All the stamps are from a stamp set of Apple Blossom Designs, which I have never before used but this will not be the last time for sure.

This card is my entry in the following challenges:
Stamping Sensations; February 2021 (4th Feb-3rd March); theme: "Colour My World"
The Flower Challenge; # 53 (4th Feb-25th Feb); theme: "Use your latest stamps or dies".

Butterflies or Birds"
You can find the logos of these challenges in the end of this post.

AAA Birthday Card Challenges

Here is my first entry in the Game # 22 of AAA Birthday Card Challenges. See pic no. 4 for the game theme. After stamping I coloured the flowers and the backgrounds with inks. I'm not very good in taking pictures so the purple colour looks in some cases blueish, but as said, it's all purple.
