Several challenges (2021-08-05)

Hello. With the card in the end of this post I'll enter the following challenges:

This is a slimline gatefold card (4"x 9").  The stamp, which is my fav floral stamp of my stash, is from a set called Hello Lovely by Uniko Ltd. It is not wide enough to fill a slimline card so I was browsing for an idea how to use it anyway. I saw a YT video of Jennifer McGuire Ink where one of her cards was a SL gatefold. Inspired by that video I cut two white backgrounds on which I stamped the flowers and coloured them with pencils. To "soften" the white background I swiped it with yellow Distress Ink. On the tag is the word "Congrats" in Finnish ("Onnea"), so this card goes for many occasions as you can write the detailed personal message on the inside of the card. The slimline cardbase, the inside page and the tags are cut with unbranded dies.

UPDATE 2021-08-17 This card was picked in the Top10 in the Allsorts Challenge week 635/6.

  6. Clever way to "stretch" your stamp for a slimline card! Beautifully colored flowers. I like your idea of having a "congratulations" sentiment but leaving lots of space inside the card to make the card suit a specific occasion or event. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More!

  7. I like your idea of splitting the Hello Lovely peony spray but flipping the halves, works well as a landscape slimline layout.
