This is a birthday card for a lady who loves flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. There is only one layer on the card base. In the retiform tech I used purple and yellow Distress Ink to divide the layer into sections, stamped the images and the sentiment with black Versafine ink, added some Stickles on the stamens of the flowers and on the bodies of the butterflies and hummingbirds. The sentiment is Finnish and means "Happy Birthday".
Love your interpretation of retiform technique, your card seems not a one layer! :) Love the soft colours too. Thanks so much for joining us at We Love Stamping May challenge!
